There are rumors that Mauricio Pochettino will hold talks about his future at Chelsea, but it appears that some Chelsea officials were never won over by him in the first place. This might open the door for Ruben Amorim to take his place.

This is in line with a story from Team Talk, which claims Amorim would be prepared to speak with Chelsea in the event that they choose to fire Pochettino following a disappointing campaign at Stamford Bridge.

After a fantastic second half of the season, the Blues ended up in sixth place. While this is a significant improvement over the previous campaign, the west London club is still a long way from where they would like to be.

For the majority of the Roman Abramovich period, Chelsea supporters were used to watching their team contend for big awards; however, the club’s new ownership is taking a chance on some intriguing young players in the hopes of developing a fantastic squad in the future.

That hasn’t produced any results thus far, and some fans will undoubtedly feel differently about Pochettino’s suitability as the project manager.

Is Amorim the perfect addition for Chelsea?

In contrast, Amorim appears to be one of the most promising young coaches in the game, making him a suitable leader for a project that takes time to complete.

The Portuguese tactician may not have the same level of experience as someone like Pochettino, but he is also a very contemporary coach who may be more patient with this young player, while a household name like Pochettino might be more inclined to move to a position where he could win things quickly.

Although it’s not confirmed yet, it appears like negotiations will soon begin, and it may be an intriguing story to follow. The Argentine is leaving CFC.
